Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA (Eletrobras) is a publicly listed electricity company headquartered in Brazil, with 46.6% of shares held by the government of Brazil. It is the largest electricity utility in Latin America, with revenue in 2019 of US$7.03 billion and installed capacity of 51 GW. Eletrobras has a predominantly renewable installed base but should further develop solar and wind rather than relying on fossil fuels for 5% of its generation.
